Fed’s Pool Sentry Career Story

After joining the Pool Sentry family in 2010 with no experience in any engineering, I was blown away by the great people that made up the company and the values that we all held in common.

The learning journey was very fast and a lot of fun with a great degree of trust placed on me from the very beginning, which I was very grateful for, and it gave me a real sense of responsibility and opportunity.

Pool Sentry provides the perfect environment for learning practical skills like plumbing, electrical work, chemical control and much more in a hands-on, proactive way.

It is possible to develop a career here very quickly as there are no barriers for anyone with good attitude, curiosity, eye for detail and determination to learn and succeed.

Because Pool Sentry has always sought to gain a better understanding of the processes that go on in a swimming pool, the research and development has meant that I have been part of developing new techniques, equipment and products. This has been so exciting as this work continues to grow and provide new opportunities for learning and growth.

By 2016 I was managing energy management projects whilst designing and building bespoke equipment for each project.

In 2022 I was proudly made Director.

This is a unique company in the industry, which through innovation is seeking to improve pools and benefit communities whilst lowering their carbon footprint.

What we do is new, exciting, challenging and very rewarding. This is the kind of job you can look forward to each day.
